History and Expertise

The patient reported outcomes-related concepts and technologies behind Dynamic Clinical Systems were pioneered in the early 1990s through groundbreaking work at Dartmouth Medical School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

As the 1990s progressed and PROs continued to prove their value in providing what traditional biologic measures could not – the patient’s voice – Dartmouth researchers came to believe that PROs were badly needed in health care delivery and research.

Thus in 2004, Chris and Lisa Weiss and a small team of experienced health care IT professionals formed Dynamic Clinical Systems to the concepts and technologies to market.

In the years since, we have become the go-to-expert for solutions that collect, sort and analyze patient–reported data that improve patient care and research quality. Currently in operation at a number of the nation’s leading academic medical centers, private practices and health agencies across the country, the company’s solutions are available in, and integrated across, more than 20 clinical areas and have become the most comprehensive and technically advanced patient-reported history and care outcomes survey instrument available today.
